Game Design

For this project, I designed and fabricated A Court of Thorns and Roses: Court of Deceit, a fully playable mystery strategy board game inspired by the fantasy world of ACOTAR, developed as part of a comprehensive visual systems assignment Centered on political betrayal rather than murder, the game challenges 3–6 players to uncover the traitor, location, and magical power used, while introducing custom character abilities and immersive action cards to elevate strategic decision-making. Visually, I created a cohesive design system featuring a radial board layout, jewel-toned color palette, elegant serif typography, custom iconography, and illustrated card assets, demonstrating mastery of branding, hierarchy, and multi-component visual consistency across a complex physical game experience.
